Rootgrow contains spores of 5 species of mycorrhizal fungi. Once germinated, they will attach themselves to the root system of the plant and grow out into the surrounding soil. Within 2-3 weeks the mycorrhizal fungi will effectively add a very large, second root system to the plant that will supply extra water and nutrients.
